Recent reports indicate that after facing a sales decline in 2025, LI AUTO-W is gearing up for a strong counterattack in 2026, targeting a 40% increase in sales to reach approximately 550,000 vehicles. To support this ambitious new target, the company is refocusing on its most reliable business foundations, with the overarching strategic direction being to "regain leadership in extended-range electric vehicles by 2026."
The automaker is reportedly concentrating significant resources on the next-generation L9 model. Many industry insiders believe that "winning the battle with the L9 will naturally revitalize the entire product lineup." The 2026 L9 model is expected to feature increased dimensions and a comprehensively upgraded chassis. In terms of intelligent capabilities, Li Auto's self-developed autonomous driving chip, the M100, is set to make its debut in the L9.
