Broad-based losses were seen across chip stocks during Wednesday pre-market trading. KLA-Tencor plunged in excess of 10% after releasing financial results, alongside declines of over 1% for Intel, Advanced Micro Devices and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, plus a 0.6% pullback in NVIDIA shares.
