Li Auto's product line head, Tang Jing, published a post today to update waiting customers of the new-generation MEGA on the latest production situation. He stated that the company received a temporary notice from its partner that the 29-inch 6K panoramic screen for the new-generation MEGA's front cabin has encountered a short-term supply shortage, and supply is not expected to recover until around the end of the year.
According to Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI)'s production and delivery plan, this will affect vehicles scheduled to roll off the production line between November 10 and December 17, involving all customers who locked in their orders between 17:06 on September 11 and 09:52 on October 26.
Tang Jing stated that for this 29-inch automotive-grade OLED panoramic screen, no supplier other than Samsung is capable of providing a screen of the same specifications.
