Deep News05:40

Atlanta Federal Reserve President Raphael Bostic stated that he is beginning to observe signs of growing skepticism regarding confidence in the U.S. dollar.

Speaking at an event in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, Bostic remarked, "We are starting to see some ripples, where this confidence is perhaps being questioned in places it hasn't been before."

He added, "When I was in Europe last summer, people were asking, 'Can we still trust it? What should we know?'"

Bostic further commented, "These factors will impact the valuation of the dollar beyond just specific market fluctuations. Hopefully, we will not lose—I believe it is beneficial for the United States to have the global reserve currency."
